PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME RULES

01 / AGREEMENT

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Romance Affiliates website at romanceaffiliates.com and to participation in the Romance Affiliates programme.

By submitting an application, accessing a partner account, using affiliate tracking materials or otherwise participating in the programme, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

Specific campaigns, commercial models or individual partner arrangements may be subject to additional written terms. Where specific written conditions conflict with these general Terms, the specifically agreed conditions will apply to that campaign or relationship to the extent of the conflict.

02 / ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility & Programme Approval

Participation is subject to approval. Romance Affiliates may review the applicant, traffic sources, websites, promotional channels, target markets and other information relevant to the proposed partnership.

  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding commercial agreement.
  • You must provide accurate and current information during registration and partnership discussions.
  • You must have the right to operate and control the traffic sources submitted for approval.
  • You must comply with laws, advertising rules and age restrictions applicable to your activities.
  • Acceptance into the programme does not guarantee access to every campaign, GEO or commercial model.

Romance Affiliates may approve, reject or request additional information regarding an application where reasonably necessary.

03 / ACCOUNT

Partner Accounts

Approved partners may receive access to programme tools, tracking links, reporting functions or other affiliate resources.

  • Account credentials must be kept confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless unauthorised access has been reported promptly.
  • Account information must remain complete and accurate.
  • Access credentials may not be sold, transferred or shared with unauthorised parties.
  • Suspicious account activity should be reported through the official Romance Affiliates contact route.

ACCOUNT SECURITY

Romance Affiliates representatives should not request your account password. Use the official validation and contact areas if you need to verify a person claiming to represent the programme.

03 Social media

04 Media buying

05 Streaming and creators

06 Email marketing

07 Communities and messaging channels

08 Other approved sources

A traffic category being listed here does not mean it is automatically approved for every campaign. Partners should confirm campaign-specific requirements before launching promotion.

05 / PROHIBITED ACTIVITY

Prohibited Traffic & Conduct

Traffic must be genuine, lawful and generated through methods permitted under the applicable campaign terms.

  • Fraudulent, fabricated or artificially generated registrations, deposits or activity.
  • Bot traffic, automated activity or manipulation of tracking systems.
  • Cookie stuffing, forced clicks or unauthorised attribution methods.
  • Misleading redirects, deceptive advertising or false claims.
  • Spam or unsolicited communications sent in violation of applicable rules.
  • Impersonation of Romance Affiliates, an advertiser or another partner.
  • Promotion to minors or audiences prohibited by applicable law.
  • Use of stolen, compromised or unlawfully obtained data.
  • Incentivised traffic unless specifically approved for the relevant campaign.
  • Any activity intended to manipulate commissions or programme statistics.

Traffic reasonably suspected of violating these requirements may be investigated, excluded from commission calculations or otherwise handled in accordance with the applicable partnership terms.

06 / MARKETING

Advertising & Marketing Standards

Partners are responsible for ensuring that their promotional activity complies with the rules applicable to the markets, platforms and channels they use.

  • Promotional statements must not be deliberately false or misleading.
  • Offer terms should be represented accurately.
  • Required advertising disclosures must be displayed where applicable.
  • Age restrictions and responsible gambling requirements must be respected.
  • Marketing materials must not target audiences where promotion is prohibited.
  • Third-party trademarks or creative assets may only be used where authorised.

Where programme-provided creatives or campaign materials are supplied, partners should use current approved versions and follow any associated usage instructions.

07 / TRACKING

Tracking & Attribution

Affiliate activity may be measured through tracking links, referral identifiers, cookies, postbacks, reporting tools or other attribution technologies.

Partners are responsible for correctly implementing tracking materials supplied for their campaigns. Where tracking has been altered, removed, incorrectly implemented or interfered with by a third-party environment, attribution may not be possible.

Programme reporting may be used as the primary reference for determining tracked affiliate activity, subject to reasonable corrections for technical errors, duplicate events, fraud or invalid activity.

08 / COMMISSIONS

Commercial Models & Commission

Commercial arrangements may include Revenue Share, CPA, Hybrid, fixed-fee or other individually agreed models.

01

RevShare

Commission based on agreed revenue-related performance criteria.

02

CPA

Commission based on agreed qualifying acquisition events.

03

Hybrid

A combination of acquisition and revenue-based components.

Rates, qualification criteria, caps, deductions, negative carryover treatment and other commercial details are not universal and may vary by campaign, market, traffic quality and individual partner agreement.

09 / PAYMENTS

Payments & Payout Conditions

Payment arrangements are determined by the commercial terms agreed with the partner and may differ according to campaign, payment method, currency, verification requirements and account status.

  • Only valid and approved commission is eligible for payment.
  • Payment may require completion of reasonable verification procedures.
  • Partners are responsible for supplying accurate payment information.
  • Applicable fees, currency conversion or third-party payment charges may affect the final amount received where relevant.
  • Payment may be delayed while suspicious or disputed activity is reviewed.

Any specific payment schedule, minimum payout level or payment method communicated in an individual agreement forms part of the commercial conditions applicable to that partner.

10 / ADJUSTMENTS

Fraud, Chargebacks & Adjustments

Commission calculations may be adjusted where activity is identified as invalid, duplicated, fraudulent, reversed, charged back or otherwise excluded under applicable campaign rules.

Where an investigation is required, the relevant amount may remain pending until the review is completed. Partners may be asked to provide information concerning the source or nature of traffic where reasonably necessary to investigate unusual activity.

11 / SUB-AFFILIATES

Sub-Affiliate Arrangements

A sub-affiliate or referral arrangement may be available where specifically approved. The availability and commercial terms of such arrangements are determined separately and are not automatically included with every affiliate account.

Partners participating in a sub-affiliate structure must not use misleading recruitment practices, create artificial referrals or attempt to manipulate attribution between related accounts.

12 / INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Brand Assets & Intellectual Property

Logos, campaign materials, graphics, copy, trademarks and other programme or advertiser assets remain the property of their respective owners.

Approved partners receive only the limited permission necessary to use authorised materials for approved promotional activity. This permission does not transfer ownership and may end when the campaign or partnership ends.

  • Do not register domains, social accounts or identities intended to impersonate Romance Affiliates or participating brands.
  • Do not materially alter protected brand assets where such alteration has not been authorised.
  • Do not claim ownership, endorsement or official status beyond the scope of the approved partnership.

13 / PRIVACY

Privacy & Data Protection

Information relating to partners and website users may be processed as described in the Romance Affiliates Privacy Policy.

Partners are independently responsible for complying with privacy, cookie, marketing and data protection obligations that apply to their own websites, audiences, tracking implementations and promotional activity.

14 / TERMINATION

Suspension & Termination

Participation may be suspended or terminated in accordance with the applicable partnership arrangement, including where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security concerns or material misuse of programme resources.

Following termination, the partner must stop using programme materials where permission to use them has ended. The treatment of pending commission will depend on the circumstances of termination and applicable commercial terms.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including confidentiality, intellectual property, payment adjustments, liability and dispute-related provisions, may continue to apply.

15 / LIABILITY

Availability & Limitation of Liability

Reasonable efforts may be made to maintain the website, partner access and related programme services, but continuous or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Romance Affiliates will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss resulting solely from temporary website unavailability, third-party service interruption, unauthorised partner activity or failure by a partner to comply with these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16 / UPDATES

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect programme changes, new functionality, compliance requirements or changes in commercial operations.

The current version will be published on this page together with its revision date. Material campaign-specific changes may also be communicated through the relevant partner channel where appropriate.

17 / GENERAL

General Provisions

  • Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not automatically waive the right to enforce it later.
  • If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
  • A partner may not transfer its programme rights or obligations to another party without approval where consent is required.
  • These Terms should be read together with any individually agreed commercial or campaign conditions.

Any governing law, jurisdiction or dispute procedure specifically agreed with a partner will be determined by the applicable partnership agreement and mandatory legal requirements. No particular jurisdiction is designated on this public page unless separately confirmed.
